Easy to use, it is perfectly fit for the shoes, remains motionless because of its super fastening. With inserting the silicone band into the side tabs, it can be put on the shoelaces, and because of the method of fixing it is hard to lose. Due to its design, it is ultralight, so it will not even be noticed while running. It provides long-lasting protection due to the rechargeable battery.

Unique Properties
Tickless Run is the essential solution for runners who like to worship their passion outdoors, and looking for an ultralight chemical-free innovation against ticks, provides long lasting protection due to its rechargeable battery. This revolutionary product works with ultrasonic technology, emits a series of ultrasonic pulses that disturb ticks thus keeping them away. Especially designed for runners with super strong fastening and nightlight function to be visible at night.

Design Challenge
The hardest part in creating the design was to fit all the components into the shell and remain tiny sized. Its shape was determined by the rechargeable battery and its height by the other parts as transducer, microchip, led light, micro-Usb connector, Pcb (Printed Circuit Board), and the button. The design of the cover was determined by the transducer, the led light, and the button. Our aim was to create a small product that is super light, easy to attach and stays fixed while running.
Project Duration
The Tickless Run project started in April 2020, Budapest, Hungary and finished in December 2020 at the same place. The very first prototype was born in 2018, but we have been constantly improving that design ever since until it reached its current shape and colour.
Operation Flow
The Tickless Run’s technology is based on ultrasonic waves. The device emits series of ultrasonic pulses which disturb ticks, thus keeping them away.
Research
We conducted market research that demonstrated the need for such a chemical-free and rechargeable product against ticks which is more sustainable. Nowadays, we spend more and more time in nature, so the control of ticks is also extremely important. Our goal with this design was to create a stylish accessory that is fashionable to wear on the one hand, and its shape perfectly meets the needs of runners and active hikers on the other.
Inspiration
Since 2010, our brand has been looking for breakthrough solutions to open a new chapter in the fight against parasites. We are working for a safe environment for both humans and animals by preventing diseases transmitted by ticks. We believe that with our innovations we can generate changes in the incidence of parasitic problems. Our goal is to offer the most reliable and effective non-toxic tick repellent device which is also environmentally friendly.
