This exhibition booth showcases the main product of Lumenis during the 2019 Spring Beauty Taipei Exhibition and the brand. Beginning with the concept of optics and a combination of mechanics and space construction. What makes it different is that replacing the general layout of the conventional 2D output to 3D spatial installation to interpret the aesthetic value of Lumenis through the creation of beauty through cutting-edge optics. The instrument showcased in a deconstructed manner at the center achieve the beauty of the interdisciplinary collaboration between science and beauty.

Unique Properties

The UP instrument at the center showcases in a deconstructed manner by hanging on a semi-transparent linear lines as if it is hovering. Coupled with the designed lighting projections, it achieves the beauty of the interdisciplinary collaboration between science and art. When light projects through the semi-transparent linear structure, It shows the beauty of optical concentration and scattering.

Production Technology

The use of imitation metallic finishing material and modular structure in assembling, the Integration in the planning of lighting, ceilings and structural columns, the wall surface extends to the soft dark blue surface material which is the brand color of Lumenis. It also functions as the stage background for the core installation. The concise and smooth dividing line shows the precision of the spatial layout and construction logic.

Design Challenge

For the exhibition project that needs to be assembled in a limited period of time, it is important to put into consideration the appropriate modules, material to reduce joints on the surface, and proper dividing lines during design stage. When cutting the UP machine and rejoining it on a linear overall , structure firmness and lighting effects, not only utilizes computer.

Operation Flow

The Lumenis Booth indeed is another milestone of Lumenis Taiwan, through marketing innovation, it demonstrated again the power of marketing and the power of innovation. The CEO of Lumenis Hong Kong was very pleased by it, saying that Lumenis booth at TDA is a high tech gallery, Lumenis ultrapulse laser is an artwork, and they all make Lumenis become a leading brand in the industry.

Research

For the exhibition project that needs to be assembled in a short time, it is very important to plan the appropriate modules during the design, to reduce the surface material of the joints, and to have proper dividing lines. After decomposing the UP machine, the overall balance of the suspended structure is reconfigured, and the structural strength and the effect of the light penetration, in addition to the use of computer simulation, rely more on the on site execution of the team craftsmanship. Precise design logic combined with meticulous craftsmanship provides a complete interpretation of Sci Art cross domain concept.

Inspiration

The designers put the features and advantages of this machine Ultra Pulse into consideration, beginning with the concept of optics and in combination of the artistry of mechanics and space construction. Designers replaced the general layout of the usual conventional 2 dimensional output to a 3 dimensional spatial installation to interpret the aesthetic value of Lumenis through the creation of beauty through cutting edge optics.
