Recap Campaign for Eight Sleep
Eight Sleep launched their 2022 Year in Sleep: Mission Sleep Fitness. This is Eight Sleep's spin on a yearly recap campaign where members can see all their sleep data for 2022 in a galactic design. Their members had their data showcased as a story in the app, and had options to share the unique avatars they received based on all their health and sleep metrics. The main challenge designers faced was contextualizing sleep and health data in a fun and engaging way while staying true to the science and being plain language enough for any outsider to understand.

Design Challenge
The main challenge we faced was contextualizing sleep and health data in a fun and engaging way, while staying true to the science and being plain-language enough for any outsider to understand.
Project Duration
This project began in October 2022 and finished in December 2022.
Operation Flow
This project took place in the Eight Sleep app, and flowed similar to an Instagram story, with dynamic and custom metrics in an animated format.
Research
For this project, we worked with the Eight Sleep data team to pull together the most interesting facts about a person’s sleep throughout the year. We built off Eight Sleep’s 2021 Year in Review campaign and took this to the next level, by adding the functionality to review your own metrics directly through the Eight Sleep app, which required a group of engineers to coordinate.
Inspiration
Mission Sleep Fitness is Eight Sleep’s spin on a yearly recap campaign. Giving users an interactive journey and a unique avatar based on their sleep metrics. We landed on a space theme to highlight the future of sleep they are currently building.
Project Overview
Mission Sleep Fitness Recap Campaign has been a Bronze winner in the Advertising, Marketing and Communication Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
