Centering the design around a futuristic technological theme, the utilization of spatial dimensions is transformed into an advantage, effectively addressing residential issues. Through the integration of light, materials and colors within the integrated space, daily living functions are met, while appropriate whitespace accentuates simplicity, comfort and aesthetic appeal to the environment. Additionally, situated near the expansive New Taipei Metropolitan Park, the design accommodates the homeowner's cycling habits by integrating indoor elements with ecology and nature, fostering a vibrant and active lifestyle within the home.
Futuristic technological theme, Versatility, Eco-friendly Material, Curved ceiling, Nature.
To achieve a sleek, cutting-edge tech vibe, we opted for eco-friendly Italian paints in refined shades of gray and white, meticulously curated to cultivate a pristine and welcoming environment. Enhanced by the subtle interplay of wood grain, stone textures, and soft hues of light gray, the space resonates with the brilliance of sunlight flooding every room. Particular attention was given to the inherent spatial dimensions, meticulously integrating the scale and structural elements to orchestrate a fluid and sophisticated layout. Through a strategic utilization of the 3.4-meter ceiling height and mezzanine design, we maximized the living space to meet the needs of each family member. The ceiling’s light strip design accentuates the perception of light and spatial height differences, visually overcoming the limitations of a compact residential environment.
Embracing a futuristic technological aesthetic as the primary design theme, the design team leveraged spatial dimensions to turn potential constraints into advantages, effectively tackling the challenges posed by limited living space. Through a harmonious integration of light, materials, and colors, we've curated a distinctively refined spatial ambiance. Situated near the expansive New Taipei Metropolitan Park, this project anticipates the future lifestyle habits of the inhabitants and their affinity for cycling. We've allocated space for bicycle storage, seamlessly integrating interior design with ecological and natural elements, thereby fostering a vibrant, active, and eco-friendly living environment.
The project finished in October 2023 in Taipei, Taiwan.
Aligned with future trends and technological advancements, and driven by a commitment to global sustainability, this project incorporates eco-friendly natural Italian mineral paints on its wall surfaces. These innovative paints not only regulate indoor temperature but also utilize low-saturation color elements to instill a serene atmosphere. Large windows strategically positioned throughout the space maximize natural light penetration, minimizing reliance on artificial lighting and contributing to efforts against global warming. This holistic approach enhances spatial functionality, promoting increased interaction between inhabitants and their surroundings, thus cultivating a dynamic and immersive living environment.
Emphasizing the comfort and aesthetics of life, and taking the homeowner's living needs as the core of the design, the space is shaped into a versatile space to satisfy daily functions which enriching the home life, combining materials and color tones to create a simple and unique atmosphere which allows people to interact with the space, and at the same time, shapes the home's fascinating style by the interplay of light and shadow.
Breaking away from conventional spatial designs, this project prioritizes meeting the homeowner's needs within a 106 sqm interior and a ceiling height of 3.4 meters. Tailored to accommodate the daily living requirements of a family of four, the design aims to create a versatile living space. For instance, the mezzanine design can house more residents if needed, with a bunk bed design in the children's room suitable for the kids until they reach school age. The guest room features a folding bed, providing additional storage space underneath, and can also be converted into a study or playroom when not in use. Additionally, this project is situated near the expansive New Taipei Metropolitan Park while the design accommodates the homeowner's cycling habits by integrating indoor elements with ecology and nature. These inspirations significantly enhance the functionality of the space, fostering meaningful interaction between the inhabitants and their environment, elevating the home’s unique character and allure.
