Inspiration

Manually tracking meals is frustrating - estimating portion sizes, recalling meals, and inputting data takes time. As a calorie-tracking app user, I felt these pain points firsthand. With advances in multimodal AI, AI agents, LLMs, and RAG, I saw the opportunity to redefine calorie tracking. No existing product seamlessly integrates voice, image, and text for effortless nutrition logging, so I built NomNow to make tracking smart, intuitive, and hassle-free.

Project Overview

Nomnow AI Calorie Tracker has been a Bronze winner in the Digital Product Design award category in the year 2025 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
