As the inaugural zodiac-themed release in the"Huofenzi V Series," this premium baijiu reinterprets tradition for a younger audience. Its illustration shows a snake, drawn by the aroma of Congtai baijiu, journeying from afar and transforming after drinking. Uniquely, the snake forms a V, blending with the series logo to symbolize a fresh take on baijiu and zodiac culture, setting a youthful and artistic tone.

Utilizing a decal firing process for the illustrations on the glass bottle provides a cost-effective production solution that also supports our eco-conscious goals.
The core challenge was to merge the snake's mystique with a youthful brand identity, while ensuring a unique and story-rich design. We achieved this by integrating diverse elements—a visual metaphor fuses molecular elements, fermentation yeast, the liquor, rice, the Congtai distillery, traditional motifs, and cosmic realms. This harmonious blend of the classic and the contemporary masterfully captures the mystical aura of the Snake.

The product's core V symbol is visually brought to life by a serpent, which narrates a tale of transformation: lured by the aroma of Congtai liquor, the snake drinks and mystically merges into the V form. Within the snake's body, a visual metaphor fuses molecular elements, fermentation yeast, the liquor, rice, the Congtai distillery, traditional motifs, and cosmic realms. This harmonious blend of the classic and the contemporary masterfully captures the mystical aura of the Snake.
The Chinese zodiac carries unique significance in baijiu culture, with annual themed releases from major distilleries sparking widespread consumer interest. For its inaugural zodiac offering—the Huofenzi Year of the Snake edition—the distillery required a visual and cultural expression distinctively aligned with its youthful, energetic brand positioning. The zodiac theme not only enriches the product line but also deepens its cultural resonance, enhancing market appeal. Since its launch, consumer response has been highly positive.
Huofenzi is both the product's name and concept, symbolized by the V shape. The design depicts a snake lured by the aroma of Congtai liquor, transforming as it drinks and merging its form with the V. Molecular and yeast motifs are woven in, blending tradition with modern aesthetics to reinterpret the mystique of the Year of the Snake.
