The Illusion is a side table that plays around with perspective. By angling two of the legs, the table remains stable but it changes the look completely. The table is a reflection on how our mind can trick us and how there are still many possibilities of designing products that some we think are unchangeable.

Design Challenge
The biggest challenge was to reach the best proportions without affecting the stability of the table.
Project Duration
The project started in the end of 2012 and finished in the beginning of 2014 with the new version of the flat packaging table.
Operation Flow
The table has two parts, mirror top and the legs. Flat packaging.
Research
Always applying the emotional design in her works Roberta Rampazzo created the table Illusion from simple and innovative lines. Based on studies of the table’s feet she got a playful result that surprises the viewer by its stability and its several angles. A reflection of how our mind is able to delude ourselves. Often we judge our point of view as unique, not realizing that even before just one object can exist infinite perspectives.
Inspiration
By applying her primary intuition as a pivotal element in her creative process, Roberta Rampazzo was able to design the Illusion table. A unique piece with elegant lines creating a multitude of optical illusions.

Project Overview
Illusion Table has been a Iron winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2014 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
