Unique Properties
This is a lightweight family treadmill of lower power consumption and higher efficiency, as well as posh look and feel as its design feature. Its adoption of brushless motor allows it to minimize friction, and to lower operating noise, while optimizing motor longevity, lowering power consumption in its energy-saving feature.

Design Challenge
The biggest challenge came from the design of the LED display screen, as legibility of display content, in terms of color, text or graphics, shall be of utmost importance, which was of high level of technical difficulties.
Project Duration
The project was finished in December, 2018 in Taipei City, Taiwan.
Operation Flow
The tread belt was powered by the motor, and hence prompting the users to make their strides in walking or jogging posture in all steadiness to simulate the effect of running exercise.
Research
This product was designed with the intention of bringing healthier living to people in a home environment so that exercise can be facilitated anytime and anywhere, with the following special benefits, such as brushless motor maximizing efficiency and longevity, along with low noise, and secondly, 12.5cm slim volume that is easy to store, and easy to move, and thirdly, excellent stability, and finally, high-tech operating screen with LED display with pleasant aesthetics.
Inspiration
How to allow sport to permeate into every family and its members of all age groups to exercise through safe and effective exercise accessories is the origin of this product. RunX, with lightweight and high-tech and posh exterior design of seamless formal line design and details, it complements any interior.

Project Overview
Run X Treadmill has been a Iron winner in the Sporting Goods, Fitness and Recreation Equipment Design award category in the year 2019 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
