The set of the Icon headboard with the Noa container elements, form a personal bedroom furnishing, expressed through the minimalism of the forms. The thin horizontal and vertical lines host soft courtesy lighting that, together with the metal legs and harmoniously selected materials, create a powerful visual image.

Unique Properties
The set of the Icon headboard with the Noa container elements, form a personal bedroom furnishing, expressed through the minimalism of the forms. Icon is an exercise in abstraction and dynamism. The pieces are assembled at different depths, creating an asymmetrical and balanced relationship with thin horizontal and vertical lines that host soft courtesy lighting. The proposal turns the headboard into a canvas of geometries and shadows that create a powerful visual image. New concepts and textures are the essence.

Production Technology
This design is developed with ergonomic standards and 3D creation processes. Always after an exhaustive creative process of sketches and models, working the colors and textures with collaborating suppliers of our studio. Market analysis and previous products, showed us the way to follow in this design that is incorporated into an extensive program of heads and container elements for the GCH firm. The design is developed with sustainable materials such as chipboard and MDF. The construction process is developed in the GCH factory, which has the highest production technology in the furniture manufacturing industry.
Design Challenge
The biggest challenge is finding the perfect balance between aesthetics, shape, materials and technologies, with an adjusted manufacturing cost price. Taking into account that our client is part of a medium segment with high production and turnover. High visual impact + maximum functionality // High productivity + low cost.
Project Duration
This Project started in July 2019 and ended in September 2020.
Operation Flow
Cosmo collection offers multiple possibilities of configuration of its container modules, beds, wardrobes and dressing rooms; in addition to the infinite options for combining tones, textures and finishes, to create exclusive spaces that fulfill all your dreams. New concepts and textures, with five oak and walnut wood tones (Polar, Tundra, Habana, Elegant, Legend), combined with five lacquered colors (White, Gray, Basalt, Cobalt, Slate) plus three marble textures (Essence, Cosmic, Luxor), to make the combination that best suits the environment we need. Because the original is always different !!
Research
An extensive market study carried out by our client, as well as the historical knowledge of the real needs of the users, provides us with information to place the product in the appropriate range. Different analysis of trends in the habitat sector gives us enough information to determine what color range and materials we should select. Our cultural background and accumulated experience in the design of home furniture, mark the formal lines of our design.
Inspiration
Inspiration arises from the contrast of elements, night and day, soft surfaces versus rough, heavy versus light, complex versus simple… Uniqueness for plurality, creating a singular bedroom for the majority of users. I can't forget that my client's order is, design for the majority.
