Residence for Shuo Pin Interior Design
This case uses Japanese Zen style as its imagery, warm wood grain and stucco tone as the base, through the combination of various different materials and imitating the clear water model, to create a modern Zen style, quiet and distant. The whole room uses plaster-like environmentally friendly building materials, as well as woven rattan, woven board, solid wood strips, solid wood curved board, solid wood match board, and leather carving board. Building materials are also used for fusion, and imitation grindstones are also used.

Production Technology
The wooden floor in the whole room is made of green energy building materials. The wear-resistant wooden floor can extend the service life of the building materials. The environmentally friendly plywood and substrate have zero formaldehyde, waterproof, fireproof, insect and termite resistance, and no formaldehyde smell. Since there is no problem of expansion coefficient (the material won't expand due to thermal), the wall does not need to be reserved for expansion joints, which improves the aesthetics of the floor.
Design Challenge

At the same time, the environmentally friendly green building material plaster with excellent waterproof and breathable properties, the raw material comes from the recycling and reuse of silt from the reservoir, and it does not forget to practice the spirit of environmental protection while constructing new homes.
Project Duration
The project finished in February 2021 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
Operation Flow
As soon as entering the hallway, you will see the spacious French windows. The dazzling sunlight spilled on the tiles and gray marble walls, gently lighting up space, while the wood and bamboo materials on the left and right softened the square stone. The ventilated design of the shoe cabinet specially invites the master craftsman to handle the door panels in a rattan method that conforms to the subtropical climate. The public areas provide good ventilation and lighting, and the calm and gentle Zen taste of home design.
Research
In this case, due to the building structure and fire protection regulations, in addition to the visual integrity, it is necessary to overcome the problems of uneven beams. Therefore, the arc-shaped design is used in the ceiling assembly. Cooperate with the winding curves in the space to create a sense of fluency and extend the space that is not actually tall, creating a bright visual effect. Part of the wall corners are designed in arcs, and round mirrors are installed, subtly echoing the serenity of Zen.
