Mods wall clock is made of natural wood and bent MDF with paint printing. The clock hands are also wooden. The serifs on the dial are metals. The clock will perfectly fit into the modern interior in the decoration of which there are natural materials or furniture. The clock has a quiet running and will not disturb any of the residents of the house or office staff. A large and not overloaded with graphics dial allows you to clearly see what time it is. The controls for the arrows with the battery compartment are on the reverse side. On the back wall there is a hanger for hanging on the wall.

Operation Flow

The clock will perfectly fit into the modern interior decorated with natural materials or furniture. The clock has a quiet running and will not disturb anybody. A large and not overloaded with graphics clock face allows you to clearly see what time it is. The battery compartment for the clock hands is on the reverse side. On the back wall there is a hanger for hanging on the wall.

Research

The clock are made only from natural materials: rosewood, brass, bent MDF was used as a hoop and back cover. Hour hands made of wood with further coloring.

Inspiration

The inspiration came from transport dashboards with their amazing visors over the screens with speed and other values. The connection between breakneck speed and the transience of irresistibly eluding time.

Project Overview

Mods Clock has been a Bronze winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
