The Starfish Collection is inspired from her scuba diving in the Andaman. Starfish being celestial symbols of infinite divine love, also holds characteristics such as intuition, brilliance, vigilance and inspiration. The Collection has been set in 18K Gold with over 4000 pieces Sapphires, Garnets and round brilliant Diamonds and completed with Tahitian Pearls. Pavit aims to be the Popstar of the Fine Jewelry industry!

Unique Properties
The Starfish Collection has been set in 18K Gold with over 4000 pieces of stones completing the Starfish i.e. Orange Sapphires, Pink Sapphires, Rubies, Tsavorite Garnets, accented by a mini starfish pave set with round brilliant Diamonds and Tahitian Pearls. The clasps of the necklace and bracelet have specially been designed in the form of a shell to give the piece a holistic marine touch. The starfish on starfish effect has flawlessly been handcrafted to give it the perfect shape and structure.

Production Technology
The process starts with rendering of a sketch. Once the sketch is finalized, we start preparing the CAD drawing for the piece to finalize the shape and the technicalities of the materials involved. Once the CAD is finalised, the piece is casted into 18K Gold and the stone setting process starts by hand after which the piece goes into polishing and final fitting for the perfect look. The collection has been set in 18 K Gold with 53.92cts Orange Sapphires, 25.47cts Tsavourite Garnets, 13.50cts Rubies, 13.23cts Pink Sapphires, 35.73cts GH VS Diamonds and 202.61cts of Tahitian Pearls.
Design Challenge
Starfish's come in all sizes and colors. It wasn't easy to capture the essence of the beautiful creature with justice to its beauty. A lot of color selection and sorting of stones had to be done to get the perfect color combinations. Designing the shell shaped clasp and welding one starfish onto another was also a challenge that we overcame with a flawless manufacturing technique.
Project Duration
The inspiration came to me in December 2021 in Andamans Island. The design concept started in February 2022 in Chandigarh, India. The production began in March 2022 in Jaipur, India and was completed in July 2022.
Operation Flow
The collection is very easy to wear. You can simply press and pull the concealed button on the shell shaped clasp of the necklace and bracelet to open. Gently push back to close until it locks.
Research
I went through multiple dives and research in understanding the anatomy and movement of the starfish. It is very important to get the anatomy right, else the piece looks animated.
Inspiration
The Starfish Collection has been inspired from my scuba diving in the Andaman. Starfish being celestial symbols of infinite divine love, also holds characteristics such as intuition, brilliance, vigilance and inspiration. While diving, they are one of the marine creatures that I always look out for. Amazingly, you will never see one like another.
