Solarlux acoustic phone booth is a special type of phone booth that provides a private and soundproof space for phone calls or video conferencing in commercial buildings. It is a valuable tool for creating a private and productive working environment in shared spaces. A unique feature of this solution is its flexibility - the table and seat can be concealed in the wall. The booth can be easily disassembled and moved to another location. Almost exclusively sustainable and recyclable materials were used in the construction.

Production Technology
The project was developed collaboratively by the lead designer, the client SOLARLUX and the students of the Fachschule Holztechnik Melle.
Design Challenge
The difficulty of the project was to simultaneously meet the high acoustic requirements, provide sufficient light and adequate ventilation inside, while ensuring the demountability of the structure.

Operation Flow
The cabin can be used in different ways by one or more people. It can be used to make phone calls discreetly while standing or sitting. Teleconferences can also be held in it. The sliding glass door allows opening in both directions.
Inspiration
With the rise of collaborative and flexible work environments, there is a growing need for spaces that allow for privacy and concentration, while still facilitating communication and collaboration. By providing a private and soundproof space for making phone calls or holding video conferences, acoustic phone booths help to create a more comfortable and productive work environment.
